The wee Beasties

I seem to be a annoyance to more than Terry the tortoise and the Vultures.

Today a pair of falcons arrived back at their nest and were not too happy I was out in their Garden.

Several Lizards weren't best pleased when I tore down some Ivy from the trees on the road side.
I guess I'll have to garden as sympathetically as I can.

Back on line and The tale of Terry the Tortoise

We now have Cable TV and Internet yay.

I found a hibernating tortoise in the garden yesterday right on the fire line of my slash and burn campaign,luckily the police turned up to tell me we can't have fires in the town so Terry the tortoise had a lucky escape.

Frost again last night.

It's starting to warm up a bit since Anne purchased a couple of oil filled radiators. finished cleaning the kitchen ceiling and walls moving on to the hall next.

First night at the house.

Spent the first night at the house on Tuesday .
The house hold stuff arrived in the morning and I got the bed set up and the gas water heater fixed .
After the movers left it started to rain then it started to snow and it got real cold.
Just before we went out for Chinese Anne spotted a couple of deer in the garden eating some trees.
The house is very quiet at night with no passing traffic and we both sleep really well tucked up in sleeping bags under the duvet.

Not Today.

So the house hold goods arrived today on a 40 foot lorry which tore up the garden,then went away again and will be back tomorrow.Yay.
